What We Liked: Flowers are so alluring that sometimes you just have to stop for a sniff or a pic. Of all of the beautiful submissions, this one caught our eye for the soft dreaminess evoked by the low lighting. The petals glow, backlit by a lamp to the left of frame. The foxtails accent the arrangement, with the one reaching up high to engage the top of the frame so the photo is not overwhelmed by negative space. Ultimately, for its romanticism and its composition, we liken the image to a classical still life painting.
