What We Liked: Color is a great tool to provide balance to a composition. Here, the pink walls, with their minimalistic accents of painted shapes and other pastel colors, fill the image and immediately catch the viewer’s attention. The painted lines and trim pleasantly guide one’s eye around the photograph. Captured perfectly in line with the column of the building, the two men laughing and walking (whose outfits complement the color scheme) are established as the focal point. Ultimately the strong composition captures an aesthetic akin to a Wes Anderson film.
