What We Liked: Shadows can provide a great balance to a photograph. This photo stood out to us because how much scenery is established with the shadows. What is otherwise a photo of a plain wall and a door, becomes more complex via the shadows cast by the balcony and tree; we are in the nook of someone’s cozy little alleyway. Plus, we enjoyed how the lonely water bottle that sits atop the wall acts as a signifier of life having passed through.
