What We Liked: A lot of pause for reflection this week… of the many use of mirrors, this one caught our eye for the atmosphere created not only by the mirror, but the lens and color scheme. The focus is not the subject herself, but her reflection in the store window. The 90’s fisheye distortion gives the moment of make-up touch-up more gravity, calling attention to self-perception. The cool tones complement the urban environment, providing for a cohesive and understated background so as to not draw focus away from the subject.
