What We Liked: This striking image captures the essence of the theme, embodying raw energy and fluidity. The use of black and white draws attention to the contours of the subject’s body and the almost angelic or ghostly quality of their motion. Like a soft smudge, the motion blur is well balanced so as to not overly abstract the image. By embracing motion blur not as a flaw but as a tool, the photographer transforms movement into emotion.
