We use professional broadcast equipment to digitize video tapes so they are optimized for viewing on any device, sharing with anyone, and downloading and editing. Your completed project will include a free subscription to Projector Stream that allows you to watch your videos just like Netflix.

Video Digitizing FAQ

We accept all tape formats for digitizing: VHS, Hi8, Digital 8, VHS C, Mini DV, and Betamax. We can digitize a mix of these formats.

The resolution of your digitized files depends on the original format. For example, a VHS tape was originally recorded in standard definition (around 480p), so the digitized version will match that resolution. We ensure that the quality of your original is preserved.

We'll issue you a refund for any tapes that end up being blank or a recording of TV shows. If you're not certain about a tape, there is no risk to you – so feel free to drop it off with the rest of your items!

We are excited by the possibilities that open up when your memories are digitized and we make sure you receive everything in the most convenient way to view, download and share. You’ll receive all of the files over the cloud via Dropbox as well as through a subscription to Projector App, where you can stream everything. You can download the videos straight off Dropbox and edit them using a program of your choice if you desire.

Tapes received by Thursday will be digitized by the following Friday (6 business days). We are focused on providing you with the most efficient and professional service in the Philadelphia area.
