Submit to our summer show with Philadelphia Sculptors before June 1st!
PL130 Gallery at PhotoLounge, in collaboration with Philadelphia Sculptors, invites artists to submit works for our upcoming exhibition Depth of Field, to take place from August 7 - September 30, 2023. The exhibition will challenge traditional conventions of photography and sculpture by exploring original ways of connecting the two disciplines. Artists are encouraged to employ loose definitions of both artistic categories and should display an intentional collaboration and combination of photography and sculpture as an integral part of the process, concept, or finished work. Collaboration between artists is welcome and encouraged. While all submitted works should utilize both photography and sculpture, there are no restrictions on additional mediums, or on content, style, or form. The exhibition will take place in the PL130 Gallery, on the two upper floors of PhotoLounge. Jurors will be PhotoLounge curators Lauren Mitchell and Owen Kobasz. There is no application fee, but all applicants need to be current members of Philadelphia Sculptors to be eligible to apply. There is a sliding membership scale and new members are welcome to join.
