What We Liked: The boats create an interesting focus point, lined up in a diagonal and basking in the evening sun. Standing out brightly against the dark water and the shaded dock, the boats provide an important balance to the image. Furthermore, the wood seats of the boats act as a guiding force for the viewer’s eye, creating a flow from the upper left corner to the bottom right. Fall creeps into the image with the sparse leaves on the water, adding just the perfect touch.
