What We Liked: This image struck is for its use of a low angle perspective and the mesmerizing way the photographer captures such an animated moment of an inanimate object. The wind kicks up the ribbons and miscellaneous decorations, filling the scene with joy and whimsy— a feeling further emphasized by the vibrancy of the colors. One can sense the celebration occurring beyond the frame. While the color blue certainly overtakes the image, it is complemented by the white striping as well as the orange hue of the inflatables that found their placement at the top of the maypole.
